Most of the advanced transcriptions and some of the basic/intermediate level titles I offer include a drum key.

 Below is the legend I use in my drum transcriptions. Sometimes for a single appearance of an odd percussion I will indicate above it. 
For layered percussion tracks (usually tambourine or cowbell) I will notate below the main drum leger.

The basis of standard drum notation for a standard drum kit is relative heights.
